Located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel in the heart of downtown, The Stilwell menu and design celebrate barbecue, Bourbon, and the city’s history with railroads, all in a warm, inviting setting. The name of the venue is a nod to The Stilwell Oyster Car, which famously delivered oysters to Kansas City’s City Market in the late 1800s.

Inside, the rustic elegant style features sage banquettes and lighting, iron accents, and warm wood tables. Mirror and wood columns reflect the back-lit liquor bottles sitting on the floating shelves, while an impressive glass chandelier highlights the bar below. The open concept promotes direct views into the kitchen and of the Kansas City skyline. Outside, there is a wraparound terrace and bar area, with fire pits and biophilia adding a cozy richness to the space. Two distinctive private rooms are available for larger groups.
