The Regent at 950 North Glebe

The Regent at 950 North Glebe Road is a 263,000-square-foot trophy mixed-use building located on a high-profile site at the entrance to the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor. The 12-story office and retail building features a dramatic yet detailed design carefully and responsively integrated into the site. During construction, the contractor recycled 50 percent of construction waste and conducted a construction indoor air quality plan. Twenty percent of products were manufactured regionally, and 50 percent were extracted regionally. The stunning interior lobby, with its sweeping red leather wall and detailed curving floor pattern of stone, won the Best Interiors/Public Spaces Award from NAIOP Northern Virginia in 2007. A sweeping curtainwall lends itself to the pedestrian and vehicular movement around the site, while the segmented shape of the retail façade also promotes dynamic activity.
