Metro Offices, a woman-owned company in operation for 25 years, was ranked the fourth largest co-working space in greater Washington DC by the Washington Business Journal in 2018. They have nine offices throughout the DC metro area, and their newest space was completed in May 2018. This new Dupont Circle office is located on the 7th floor of 1250 Connecticut Avenue, NW, and was designed as a modern update to their previous suite on the 2nd floor. The design of their new space reflects Metro Offices' innovative and multifaceted approach to flexible workplace solutions.

The Metro Offices floor plan is organized with a high density of various-sized offices and open workspaces for individuals and small groups, offering plenty of options to suit members' work styles. The plan was developed with the user experience in mind, and encourages Metro Offices' members to experience the space holistically, rather than stay limited to their private work area. Private offices wrap the perimeter, giving way to a large expanse of shared community, collaboration, and drop-in work environments on the interior. The story of the space is told by a generous corridor that guides guests past the semi-private glass wall offices to the areas of higher activity within the shared community space that was modeled after a concierge hotel lounge, the interior collaboration rooms that blend work and play, and the quiet retreat areas designed to surprise.
