eVestment is an Atlanta-based fintech firm that specializes in providing easy-to-use, cloud-based solutions to help the institutional investment firms. With continued accelerated growth, the company had outgrown its existing space and selected Cooper Carry to work with them to renovate their existing 35,000 sf facility to be more efficient and accommodate more people. Through a thorough workplace strategy process, Cooper Carry helped eVestment understand that any renovation of the existing space would be a short term solution. As a result, they chose to relocate to a larger building. eVestment’s goals for the space were to facilitate their dynamically quick software development process, accommodate growth quickly, and create an environment that was comfortable for the staff.
The result is an open and airy space that is energetic and bathed in light, which directly reflects the brand of eVestment. No individual has a private office and work spaces are long benching tables where employees sit across from each other, to increase quick “on the fly” collaboration at the desk. Sprinkled throughout the plan are enclosed team rooms of varying sizes and configurations with glass, writable surfaces, and TVs that are abundantly prevalent for collaboration and ideation. There is a large lounge area, connected to a great outdoor, 2-story patio, as well as an internal communicating stair. This has become a unique, yet purposeful space for more than 300 employees to gather for company news and celebrations.

We find this space most useful because it not only serves as a tool for us to share with the employees, but also accentuates our brand and culture…all important to everyone at eVestment. — Heath Wilson, eVestment’s Co-Founder
