Downtown Doral is a 110-acre mixed-use project to be built in the newly formed town of Doral, Florida just north of Miami International Airport. The Town Centre is a “total environment,” complete with townhouse and mid-rise, owned and rented residential units, main street shopping, restaurants, offices, a school, a grocery store and plenty of public and amenity space. In fact, there are over four and a half acres of public green space and nearly three miles of tree lined, pedestrian-friendly streets. In order to create a more walkable, attractive environment, residential parking structures are wrapped by buildings and covered by a total of fifteen acres of private amenity space. The architecture of Downtown Doral takes its stylistic cues from local Old Florida and Mediterranean Vernacular traditions. The Phase One residential and commercial development is located immediately adjacent to Doral Golf Club’s world renowned Blue Monster and White Courses. Continued phases are designed to further connect with surrounding areas, thereby creating a Town Centre that is not an isolated enclave but a true new town center for Doral.
