In the Cooper Carry Washington, DC offices, employees and clients work in a veritable laboratory, where learning is synonymous with doing, and design is analogous to green. We sought to create a space that is enjoyable, beautiful and peaceful, while demonstrating the best practices of sustainable, healthy and energy-efficient design. In conjunction with the urbanist views of our company, we selected an existing building in a dense urban location with easy access to pedestrian, bike, and public transit facilities. Employees have access to bike storage, showers and changing facilities within the building, which sits within walking distance of residential neighborhoods and cultural amenities in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.

Cooper Carry’s Alexandria Office was the second LEED-CI Gold certified project in the Washington D.C. metro area. The project has also been awarded a Fitwel 1-star rating.
