Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 2500 Century Center
Atlanta, GA
2500 Century Center is a design-build project that consists of a five story Class A office building and an adjacent four level parking structure. The building contains 116,000 gross square feet of tenant space occupied by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is designed to prevent progressive collapse, and meets Federal Protective Services Security Standards. Built on an existing parking lot, this project enhances the strengths and character of the built environment and maximizes views into the existing and embellished landscape. The lobby is defined with a monumental clear glass framing system to capture the dramatic effects of natural lighting.
