Cooper Carry designed the first AC Marriott in Atlanta and one of the first in the United States. The 166 key Marriott hotel is located next to Phipps Plaza, and its design emphasizes style, accessibility, high standards of quality, sustainability and efficiency. The hotel features 2,500 square feet of meeting space, lounge, library, health and fitness center, an indoor pool and complimentary wireless internet throughout the hotel. The hotel connects to Phipps Plaza through an open-air walkway. Its design blends with the mall’s exterior façade.
