Shruti Agrawal AICP, Fitwel Amb., LEED AP ND

Shruti Agrawal is a member of Cooper Carry’s Urban Design + Planning Studio. She joined the firm in 2020 and was promoted to an Associate in 2023. Shruti has a background in architecture, interior design, and urban planning. She has participated in a wide range of projects, from large-scale comprehensive plans to strategic development plans for public and private sector clients. She has organized many community engagement sessions for the community and stakeholders in collaboration with local and state agencies.

Shruti is a strong proponent of sustainable design; she believes it creates an accessible, beautiful, and interactive place for everyone. She puts this commitment to practice by serving on the firm’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council.

Shruti earned her Master of Urban Planning from the University of Georgia, her Bachelor of Architecture from Nagpur University, and a diploma in Interior Design and Decoration from Pune University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), the New York chapter of the American Planning Association (APA), and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). She is also a committee member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative at the New York chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Shruti is a LEED AP® Neighborhood Development (LEED AP ND) and Fitwel Ambassador.
