Mushtaque Abban AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, Fitwel Amb.

Mushtaque Abban joined Cooper Carry in 2014 and was promoted to Associate in 2022. Mushtaque is a member of Cooper Carry’s Mixed-Use and Multifamily Studios, though he has also worked on projects in hospitality and healthcare in his career. His interest in understanding design and its impact on people, spaces, communities, and environments has created opportunities for him to work on various building types from concept to completion.

Mushtaque has also contributed to single-family residences and hospitality projects in his home country of Pakistan, where local artisan and design techniques are used. This has broadened his insight on design, and he is always looking for opportunities to incorporate local techniques and traditions in his work.

Mushtaque is a registered architect in Washington DC, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), and LEED AP® Building Design + Construction (LEED AP® BD+C).
