Katherine Stone serves as Cooper Carry’s Chief Marketing Officer. In that role, she leads Cooper Carry’s Marketing Department as well as its Brand Services group, providing branding and storytelling for the built environment. Her projects at Cooper Carry include the Standard, Fresh & Feta, The Commons at Lake Hearn, District 60, Springline at District 60, Birch and Broad and many more.
She joined the firm in 2018 and was made an Associate in 2019 and Associate Principal in 2021. Katherine has more than 30 years of experience successfully creating and executing marketing, public relations, communications, and digital marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, bolster engagement and strengthen relationships between world-class brands and their target audiences. She was named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2020 Women of Influence in commercial real estate marketing.
Katherine’s previous roles include serving as The Coca-Cola Company’s first Director of Experiential marketing. In that position, Katherine was responsible for leading the creative development of experiential retailing concepts aimed at driving volume and forging long-term brand equity. Her career also includes creating an award-winning digital marketing movement that led to the formation of a national maternal mental health nonrofit, for which she won numerous awards including a 2008 WebMD Health Hero, 2011 Mental Health America Media Ward and 2017 Iris Award for Social Media Campaign of the Year.
Earlier in her career she served as an account supervisor at Cohn & Wolfe, a top 10 global public relations firm now known as BCW, where she led the media relations team for the AT&T Global Olympic Village (GOV) during the 1996 Olympic Games and was named to the AT&T 100, a group of 100 people who contributed most to AT&T’s successful global sponsorship of the Games.
Katherine Stone holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University.
