Senior Associate
Torrey Law joined Cooper Carry in 2012, and was named Associate in 2017 and Senior Associate in 2019. She is a project architect in our Hospitality Studio. Torrey has worked on a number of hotel and mixed-use projects from preliminary design through construction in the Mid-Atlantic region. She is an accredited LEED AP® Building Design + Construction (LEED AP® BD+C), serves as a Council Member on the University of Virginia A-School Young Alumni Council, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Torrey was raised in Fairfield, CT, and then ventured further south to the University of Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with a minor in architectural history. She received her Master of Architecture with High Distinction from the University of Michigan, where she focused her studies on architecture as a response to global socio-economic conditions and international development with studios traveling to Mexico City and Guangzhou, China. While at the University of Michigan, she also served as a Graduate Student Instructor, teaching courses in the required undergraduate architectural history sequence.
