Jason King AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Jason King joined Cooper Carry in 2013, was named an Associate in 2015,  Senior Associate in 2017, and Associate Principal in 2021. He brings more than 20 years of experience and has been a project architect for numerous hospitality projects. Jason has experience with both new-build and renovation projects having worked on several highly acclaimed projects including the Hyatt Regency Atlanta – Public Space Renovation which was awarded the 2011 Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Award.

Throughout Jason’s career he has consistently been involved in projects from early design phases all the way through the close of construction, affording him a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in design and construction. In addition to Hospitality, Jason has experience in Retail, Office Workplace and Education projects, lending a diverse background of experience to the Hospitality Studio.

Jason graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Architecture and the University of Virginia with a Master of Architecture. He is a registered Architect and a LEED AP® Building Design + Construction (LEED AP® BD+C).
