Lancaster City Amtrak Station Rehabilitation
Lancaster, PA
The City of Lancaster undertook the renovation and rehabilitation of the Lancaster Amtrak Station to create a new gateway into the city. The renovations called for the incorporation of two bus lines connecting to the Amtrak and SEPTA rail service. Once underway, the benefits to the city and to Amtrak became more apparent which led to increasing the scope of work to include platforms, mechanical systems and historic interiors.
