The Bowl at Ballantyne

Charlotte, NC

The Bowl at Ballantyne is a 20-acre mixed-use complex located in south Charlotte, featuring multifamily housing, dining, retail, office spaces, and entertainment options. A key focus of the project was ensuring accessibility and enhancing connections to nature. To facilitate this, a new pedestrian bridge has been constructed, allowing easy access from the park to dining and retail areas. Additionally, six new roads have been developed to improve connectivity to the site, including two roads extending to North Community House Road. This project aims to create a main street atmosphere in the growing area.

Cooper Carry served as the design architect and architect of record for seven retail shell buildings within the Bowl and the Stream Park Pavilion. We also provided design services for the residential ground-floor retail. This project was developed in collaboration with LandDesign.
