The Tommy Stalnaker Aquatic Center, located in Warner Robins, Georgia, is a collaborative effort between the Houston County Board of Education, the Houston County Commissioners, and the cities of Warner Robins, Centerville, and Perry. The center is designed to cater to the recreational and competitive swimming needs of the community.
The facility spans 39,000 square feet and features a 50-meter competition pool with cutting-edge pool and timing technology, ideal for hosting swimming competitions for the various high school swim teams in Houston County. The pool area also has bleacher seating and separate restrooms for spectators.
In addition to the competition pool, there is a 25-yard warm water program pool that includes expansive entry steps and a zero-entry ramp. This pool is used for beginner swim classes, aqua aerobics, and as a warm-up space for competitive swimmers. The building also has a lobby, classroom space, locker rooms, offices, and a large outdoor covered area.
